Cancer is a word.

Cancer has touched both our extended and immediate family in the past few weeks, months and refocused our reality.

At times the focus is one of grief, sadness of loss both expected and feared, paralyzing in it's veracity.

At other times it has brought clarity, joy, freshness to a single moment in time.

The sound of laughter, the smell of lilies, the way a childhood story remembered transports you away.

Cancer is a word; it is not a sentence ~ unknown author

When you use cancer in the sentences of your life, be mindful of the power you are giving away or drawing to you.

Cancer is word it should never be allowed to define the people who it has touch!
